Pada hari Jum'at, 27 September 2013 rombongan studi banding dari RSUD Muare Teweh berkunjung ke RSUD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo. Dalam kunjungan ini mereka ingin mendapat masukan dari rumah sakit di Kapuas tentang berbagai macam hal, diantaranya tentang perda tarif, sistem keuangan, pengelolaan data Jamkesmas, sistem pengadaan farmasi dan lain-lain. Rombongan dari Muara Teweh langsung dipimpin oleh direktur rumah sakitnya.
